Qatar Shipyard Technology Solutions is looking for a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our dedicated Plant & Maintenance team. This critical role focuses on ensuring the optimal performance of specialized climate control systems that protect our sensitive operational infrastructure.

About the Role:
In this specialized position, you will be responsible for the operational integrity, maintenance, and repair of sophisticated HVAC systems, primarily within electrical substations and key facilities. Your work will be essential in maintaining precise environmental conditions to protect sensitive equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on industrial and commercial HVAC systems.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex faults in a timely and efficient manner.

Service and maintain a variety of equipment including package units, VRV/VRF systems, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), and large-capacity air dryers.

Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals to guide repairs and installations.

Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Your Profile:
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with deep expertise in industrial HVAC systems, particularly in critical environments.

Experience & Skills:

A minimum of 6 years of proven experience, with a specific focus on maintaining and repairing HVAC systems within electrical substations or similar critical facilities.

In-depth, hands-on knowledge of:

Package Units

VRV/VRF Systems

Air Handling Units (AHUs)

Fan Coil Units (FCUs)

Large-Capacity Air Dryers

Strong ability in electrical fault finding and using schematics for diagnostics.

A commitment to safety protocols and quality workmanship.

Qualifications:

A Degree, Diploma, or Equivalent Technical Certificate in the HVAC trade.
